D/23/03/1 Chairman to Read the Fire Safety Notice and Announce that Proceedings May be Filmed or Recorded
The Chairman opened the meeting and read out the Fire Notice and that the meeting may be filmed or recorded.

D/23/03/2 Apologies
Apologies were received from Cllrs Berry and Clover. Cllr Hall was absent.

D/23/03/3 Declaration of Members Interests & to Remind Councillors of the need to keep up to date their Register of Member’s Interests and to Consider any Requests Received for Member’s Dispensation
None noted. There were no requests for dispensations.

D/23/03/4 To Confirm the Minutes of the Meeting Held on 20th February 2023 and any Matters Arising
Members received the minutes of the Development & Planning Committee held on 20th February 2023 and following amendment was made:

Page 5 – D/23/02/32.01 Resolved – was changed to a Recommendation.

Subject to the amendment being made, the following was agreed:

A member of the public and a member of the press joined the meeting.

That the minutes of the Development & Planning Committee held on 20th February 2023 be adopted and signed as a true record by the Chairman of the Development & Planning Committee.

Matters arising
Page 4 – D/23/02/28 – DC/23/0047/TCA – WSC had placed TPOs on 2 trees and the others were of no importance such as young trees from self-seeding.

D/23/03/5 Public Open Session
A member of the public asked if Leylandii tress have any protection. She was concerned that the trees at Queensbury Lodge would be removed due to development of the site. The Chairman advised that the Committee do everything they can to protect healthy trees and each application is considered on merit. Members of the public are encouraged to make representations via WSC Planning Portal regarding concerns.
