A/24/01/1 To Elect a Chairperson
The Clerk called for a Chairperson of the Appeals Committee to be proposed. Cllr Perry proposed Cllr McHugh; seconded by Cllr Jones. It was agreed:

A/24/01/1.01 Resolved
Cllr J McHugh was elected Chair of the Appeal Committee for the Municipal Year ending May 2024

A/24/01/2 Chairman to Read the Fire Safety Notice and Announce that Proceedings May be Filmed or Recorded
The Fire Notice was not required.

A/24/01/3 Apologies for Absence
Apologies were received from Cllrs Crissall and Starkey.

A/24/01/4 Declaration of Member’s Interests and to Remind Councillors of the Need to Keep up to Date Their Register of Member’s Interests and to Consider Any Requests Received for Member’s Dispensation
None noted. There were no requests for dispensations.

A/24/01/5 Public Open Session
No members of the public wished to speak.

A/24/01/6 Exclusion of the Press & Public
The Clerk informed the Committee that, as there was no personal or specific information being discussed, there would be no requirement to enter into a confidential section of the meeting.

A/24/01/7 To appoint a Standing Appeal Panel of three members of the Appeals Committee with delegation to consider appeals and report the findings to Full Council
Proposals for an Appeal Panel were received and it was agreed:

A/24/01/7.01 Resolved
That Cllrs Jones, McHugh and Perry form the Standing Appeal Panel with delegation to consider and decide Appeals until the end of the Municipal Year in May 2024.
