Annual Town Meeting of Newmarket Electors

Tuesday 25th May 2021 at 6.00pm at the Memorial Hall, High Street, Newmarket, Suffolk, CB8 8JP

The Annual Town Meeting may, by law, discuss all town affairs and pass resolutions about them.
In accordance with LGA 1972, section 13 (1), a town meeting shall consist of the registered local government electors for the town.

1) Apologies
2) Introductions and welcome from the Town Mayor
3) Open session – questions from electors to representatives of the three local authorities responsible for the town of Newmarket (Suffolk County Council, West Suffolk Council and
Newmarket Town Council)
4) To receive questions relating to reports of the following committees:
• Community & Leisure Services Committee
• Development & Planning Committee
• Finance & Policy Committee
• Human Resources Committee
• Neighbourhood Plan Committee
5) To receive any reports from West Suffolk Council District Councillors and respond to any questions
6) To receive any reports from Suffolk County Councillors and respond to any questions
