Newmarket and Maisons-Laffitte have been twinned for over 60 years.
It was seen as a way of spreading mutual awareness and as an opportunity to develop our cultural knowledge by creating closer ties of friendship between two communities.
Each time visitors stay in local residents’ homes and over the years, many lasting friendships have been made.
New members are always welcome as they bring fresh ideas and help to keep our twinning activities rich and exciting.
In 2023 it’s Newmarket’s turn to visit Maisons-Laffitte from the 26th to the 29th May 2023.
