We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the public and the families for attending the unveiling of the plaque commemorating the civilian victims of the Newmarket bombing. We were so delighted to see so many people interested in the town’s history and heritage.
A special thank you goes to Newmarket Local History Society for their research and presentation, Bottisham Airfield Museum and Burwell Museum and Windmill for the loan of their priceless artefacts, and to NPH Newmarket Plant Hire for providing the lighting for the unveiling on the night.
