Come and commemorate the Queen’s historic Platinum Jubilee with us this summer.
Newmarket’s celebrations will include a big parade on Friday 3rd June, starting at noon.
Beginning at the Memorial Hall, the procession will travel along the High Street, accompanied by commentary hosted at the Bill Tutte Memorial, and finish at the Clock Tower to disperse onto the Severals where everyone can enjoy the Jubilee Town Party.
Let’s make this a huge gathering to celebrate this once in a lifetime event. Participants may be individuals, pairs, families, or other groups – the more the merrier. The themes are “The Queen Through the Ages” and “Best of British” – let’s see Newmarket bursting with colour and creativity, so put on your crowns, face masks, headdresses, wigs, costumes, and bring (or wear) your flags.
Professional entertainers, artists, and music will add to the merriment.
