Teddy Bears Christmas

A Christmas Teddy bonanza is being organised by All Saints Church, on three Saturdays in December 2021. The event runs from 10am till 2pm, on Saturday 4th, 11th and 18th December 2021. The event will feature homemade savouries, cakes, beverages, art activities and ‘Name the Teddy Bear’ competition.
Donations are encouraged. All monies raised will go towards All Saints Cornerstone Project Phase 1 – “New Kitchen and Toilet”

Christmas Street party by Newmarket Town Council

There will be a little something for everyone as the day will be jam-packed with the Newmarket Choir at 11.00-11.30am & 12.00-12.30pm, who will be singing a variety of festive songs, a Christmas carol sing along, so you can sing until your hearts content! There will also be appearances from the Newmarket band at 2.00pm, and fantastic photo opportunities with stilt walkers and Santa in a giant snow globe, perfect for little ones. Not only that… we are also giving away free mince pies! It really is the most wonderful time of the year.
Free Santa’s Workshop by Newmarket Town Council & Newmarket Community Arts

Location: Memorial Hall
Time: 10.00am – 3.00pm
There will be various activities and fun things for the families to enjoy, the music mural a physical activity will involve moving to music and when the music stops, choosing a pen colour and doodling/drawing on a huge piece of paper until the music starts again. A storyteller will be telling three different Christmas stories throughout the day with props and interaction from the audience, a Christmas theatre performance by T3, Christmas crafts, and pottery painting with the guidance of professional artists. All materials will be provided. The event is organised in a covid safe environment.
Yellow Brick Road Christmas trial

Opening with an exciting event that includes live performers on Saturday 18th December between 10 am and 2 pm and then running throughout the festive period until 9th January 2022.
Find the ten life size Wizard of Oz characters along the Yellow Brick Road between Exeter Road and Noel Murless Drive, scan their QR codes, read the story and take selfies.
