Newmarket Town Council has launched a free flower giveaway in October 2021.
We don’t want to waste a single beautiful bloom that has been brightening up our town this summer! We have some gorgeous pink geraniums on offer.
Anyone who lives in Newmarket can benefit from this giveaway. Just come along to the Memorial Hall, Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm to collect your flowers while stocks last. Just bring your own bag or container.
We are encouraging everyone to plant at least one flower pot. This giveaway is a fantastic opportunity to add some free colour to your garden next year.

Finally, should your flowers start to decay, don’t toss them in the rubbish just yet! Consider the benefits of recycling plant material by making your own compost. Any leftover flowers, fruit, and veggies can be tossed into the heap and you can use it to feed your garden and potted plants!
