Welcome to my monthly Partnership Funded PCSO report.
Below are some of the activities I have been involved in alongside actively supporting the Police with tasks regarding crimes reported in Newmarket, this has involved requesting and collecting CCTV and speaking with businesses that have been victims or witnesses of crime to offer support, advice and updates as well as regular intelligence submissions.(10 this Month)
- ABBEYCROFT LEISURE The Eight travelling families who took up residence in the Leisure Centre car park overnight on 20/07/2021 Finally left after they were served with a court order by NSGRTS ordering them to leave on 28/07/2021 having already failed to comply with the section 77 notices requiring them to vacate by noon on 25/07/2021 .
Whilst the travellers were in situ Daily liaison took place between the Police.West Suffolk Council and Abbeycroft. Police dealt with six reported incidents these related to ASB, Theft and low-level assaults on leisure centre staff.
- ASB AWARENESS WEEK Culminated in the arrest of two individuals responsible for multiple Thefts from Tesco stores across the County. The two individuals were seen by Security entering the Tesco store on Fordham Rd and officers from both the SNT and NRT attended within minutes resulting in both being arrested as they attempted to leave the store with stolen items. The vehicle they were using was also located and seized for forensic examination.

- I am happy to give advice and guidance where I can. If it is something that I cannot give an immediate answer to, then I am ideally placed to seek advice from other professionals.
