Grosvenor Yard Car Park
An installation of a new drainage system will take place at Grosvenor Yard on behalf of Anglian Water. West Suffolk Council will be using the opportunity to coordinate the resurfacing of the car park and footpath, as well as carrying out relining works. The car park will be closed from 26 April to 22 May. During this time the only access to the car park will be for residents in Grosvenor Yard and visitors to LIDA vets.
While we appreciate the works will cause some disruption, they are necessary and by coordinating with Anglian Water, the car park only needs to be closed once for both sets of work to take place.
Newmarket’s parking capacity is sufficient to meet the parking demand during this period. West Suffolk Council will press on to get the car park reopened earlier, if possible.
