Every year during the Poppy Appeal, our volunteers cover as many areas as possible, collecting on the streets, in shopping centres and at stations.
However, this year, as a result of COVID-19, many of our volunteers are understandably unable to assist, and reduced footfall in these areas means that our Poppy Appeal income is at risk.
The Royal British Legion is asking everyone to support the Poppy Appeal, but to take part in remembrance remotely.

** Please note that for text donations, the systems will charge you either £2, £5, or £10 (plus one message at your standard network rate). The Royal British Legion will receive 97% and will contact you by text on the mobile number you used to give you the opportunity about how you would like to be contacted in the future, and to find out whether you would like to add Gift Aid to your donation.
The Royal British Legion is a Registered Charity No 219279
