Suffolk Day celebrates the county’s heritage, the incredible coastline, the unspoiled countryside, and all the wonderful things about our beautiful county like food, art, culture, and sports.

A Suffolk Day is an annual event and a great way to celebrate the past, the present, and the future.

All the events are subject to change if the roadmap out of lockdown is set back.

As part of the county’s annual Suffolk Day celebrations on 21st June, Discover Newmarket marking the occasion by promoting the guided tours which is by far the best way of finding out all about the Home of Horseracing!
Discover Newmarket will be offering a free guided tour of The Gallops on Monday 21st June, followed by free coffee and a slice of Newmarket cake, courtesy of the Best Western Heath Court Hotel. The event is free and open to everyone. No need to book, just meet us at the Heath Court Hotel at 9 am, or just join us for coffee and cake at 10 am. We look forward to seeing you!

Newmarket library will be opening for a limited time, to invite you in for a ten minute visit for a drink and a mini activity.
As they can only have three guests at a time, there will be no PC sessions available but you can use the self-service scanner for returns, or indeed the usual book drop.
So drop in anytime between 10am and 1pm for a little break
