A big thank you to all of those who attended the butterfly workshop here at the Memorial Hall on Saturday, 1st July. We are very pleased with the outcome of the mural and we hope you will be too! A great day of arts and crafts, taking inspiration from the #newmarketincolour initiative. We hope to have the mural up and on display in the next week or so, feel free to come and take a look when you are next passing through the gardens!
Adding another burst of colour, Newmarket BID will be embracing the theme by dressing some of the streets with overhead art installations of butterflies. The business-led organisation will also give some of the empty shop windows a creative makeover and is inviting offices and retail businesses to decorate their windows and outdoor areas, too.
