Newmarket Cemetery

Newmarket Town Council is legally responsible for managing and controlling the cemeteries.

Newmarket Town Council has now authorised West Suffolk’s Cemetery Registrar to act with its authority and enforce the regulations.

Our Zero-Tolerance Approach

Any member of the public found engaging in harassment or abusive behaviour towards our staff or other visitors will face consequences, which may include:

•        A formal warning and request to stop the behaviour

•        Being asked to leave the premises immediately

•        A permanent ban from our facilities and services

•        Reporting the incident to law enforcement, where applicable
