The Council is excited to be involved in celebrating this remarkable milestone in the Queen’s historic reign. It was a superb opportunity for family, friends, and neighbours to come together to thank the Queen. As well as thanking the Queen, we would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to everyone who has contributed towards organising the events – the people whose support we couldn’t do without. Starting with the 15 amazing community groups that took part in the parade, Suffolk Community Foundation & Arts Council England, Jockey Club Estates, Newmarket Journal, Newmarket Community Arts, Newmarket Local History Society, All Saints Church, National Horse Racing Museum, Newmarket Racing Centre, Love Newmarket, Newmarket Tesco.
The Council hopes that residents and communities in Newmarket enjoyed the variety of events and activities hosted over the extended Bank Holiday weekend.
