DESCRIPTION:Saturday 18th -Thursday 23rd May 2024\nNewmarket – England – UK \nWe are excited to have Mehrab Khan lead us through a six-day meeting here in the UK.\nMehrab is a senior instructor with the Canadian Tai Chi Academy. He teaches with an emphasis on the Taoist benefits of our Tai Chi\, as taught by Mr Moy. \nPart 1: Beyond Tai Chi Moves – 3 days (Sat 18th – Mon 20th)\nLearn how to physically implement the Taoist principle of ‘Wu-Wei’\nUnderstand and experience how to practise with proper intention and effortless action\nPractical improvement of your physiology and health using Tai Chi to soften the muscles\, line-up the tendons and open the ligaments that hold bones\, joints and organs in place \nPart 2: Within Tai Chi Moves – 3 days (Tues 21st – Thur 23rd)\nLearn proper timing and connection of each movement\nUnderstand that the cleanliness of each move is to follow the path of nature\nGain confidence by learning how to think for yourself when practising each move \nFeel free to come for Part 1 or 2\, but places are limited so priority will be given to those people wishing to participate\nin the six days. Fees are £145 (TCLA members – £135 ) for the six days\, or £80 (TCLA members – £75) for three days\,\nboth options include lunch.\nRegistration: workshop@taichilifeacademy.org

DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to support eight charities and community groups to enable them to raise funds this summer by allowing those groups to organise a car boot sale.\nThere’s nothing like finding a bargain and that’s why boot fairs remain so popular! \nThe Severals ground is offered free of charge and the organisations will benefit directly from the proceeds. \nCharities and community groups\, please get in touch by emailing events@newmarket.gov.uk to secure your date. \n19 May: \n2 June: \n \n 16 June:\n \n30 June:\n \n14 July:\n \n28 July:\n \n11 August: \n25 August: \nThe Severals (Bury Road\, CB8 7BP) will only be available for use after completion of their daily training. \nThis normally means that access is only allowed after 12:00 midday –  not only for buyers but for the sellers too. \nCar boot sellers: 12.00 \nCar boot buyers: 12.30 \nImportant information: The gate will be open 12:00pm to allow sellers to get set up\, ready for buyers arriving at 12.30pm. Please do not arrive before midday. Early arrivals will cause gridlock in Bury Road and Fordham Road. \n
